Y'know something, I'm a good friend. I just bailed that punk KAGE over at The ShadowPlastic label out of a jam. I mean, not only do I design the website for them, but I help him with his T-shirt designs by provding valuable input and direction, and I actually collabed w/ him on a T-shirt. Seems that they needed a T for the ladies and his well was running dry. Saved his backside again I did. |03.02.07//Coffee at 1:30 a.m. is ill advised.
It's amazing what one does to finish a project. I must have drank 6 cups of coffee today. My eyes are starting to twitch, talk to myself and hallucinate. But it's all great in the state b/c I'll probably sleep the whole weekend. Now see, that's project dedication, risking high blood pressure, hardened arteries and your sanity to see a project through to the end. Or is that crazy talk?
So I decided to take a lil breaky break and update the COMM.WRK section with the package design and T-shirt design I did for KOOL Cigarettes (Funny thing is, I don't even smoke). And thanks to my studio mate for hand modelling for me. She's got a future that kid.

|02.22.07//Birthday Blues (and Blacks and Reds).
Yet another year has gone by and God in his infinite wisdom has allowed me to continue using a computer to express myself. While most people feign getting older, I embrace it. With age comes wisdom, and loss of memory, lower alcohol tolerance and arthritis. Such is life.
I put 3 new pieces up in the PERS.WRK slide show: Dead Chic Shiomi, Lord of Darkness and Murder Bunny. Hope you like them. If you don't, go suck on an egg. Just kidding, although eggs are quite delicious any time of the day and a good source of protein.

|02.09.07//Learn How To Scroll, People!
Welcome to THE REAL MCKOY (dot com). This is the site formerly known as SAVAGE WEAPONS (dot com). I got tired of the whole "Look at me I'm 'edgy'," thing and decided to go with a nice, simple, quaint little web site. One you could sit down and look at with the kids during Christmas. This format lets me update easier (read: more often) with my new work and it's got those nifty slideshow thingees. And it's time to reacquaint yourself with your scrollbar, because that's my new thing.
Anyway, hope you like all the changes (and if you don't then "BOOO!" to you). Give me a shout (or a gig)whenever you want. See you on the streets. And remember, the REAL "McKoy" is spelled with a capital "K".
